A Tea That Soothes the Throat

Soothing Throat Tea 

From Herbal Recipes for Vibrant Health by Rosemary Gladstar 

($16.95, Storey Publishing, 2008)

2 parts licorice root

1 part cinnamon

1 part echinacea

1 part marshmallow root

1/8 part ginger

Cover ingredients with cold water and heat slowly in a saucepan. Simmer for 20 to 45 minutes, covered. The longer you simmer, the stronger the tea.
